Dialogue on Engagement in Environmental Peacebuilding

This Earth Week, coinciding with the UN General Assembly’s High-Level Meeting on Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace, we are pleased to invite you to join us for a live online event on engagement in the field of environmental peacebuilding. The hosts will be the core faculty of the 2018 MOOC on Environmental Security and Sustaining Peace.

This live conversation will begin with a summary of takeaways and reflections about the field of environmental peacebuilding to-date, including some key lessons from the course. Then, the faculty will discuss opportunities for practitioners, academics, students, and others to continue to engage in efforts relating to environmental security and sustaining peace. There is a growing number of opportunities for engaging in environmental peacebuilding in a professional capacity and for personal enrichment alike.

Note: While this dialogue will serve as the eighth office hour of the MOOc, the event is open to the public! You do not have to be enrolled in the MOOC to participate.
