"Environmental Protection and Transitions from Conflict to Peace" Book Launch

On Monday, November 13th, on behalf of Ambassador Brett Mason, The Australian Embassy in the Hague will host a book launch celebration for "Environmental Protection and Transitions from Conflict to Peace", which was edited by Carsten Stahn, Jens Iverson, and Jennifer S. Easterday. This book is a legal literature review which investigates post-conflict environmental challenges. It brings together academics, policy-makers, and practitioners from a variety of disciplines to shed light on policy and practices of environmental protection and normative frameworks. It examines post-conflict settings to recommend specific principles and techniques to prevent harm. 

The event will take place from 17:00 - 18:30 at the Australian Residence, Tobias Asserlaan 6, The Hague. Honorary speakers will include  Ambassador Marie G. Jacobbson, Professor Tim McCormack and Mr John Hocking.
