As part of Geneva Peace Week, between the 6th to 10th of November, the Geneva Water Hub, The Quaker United Nations Office, The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will be hosting a panel on "Conflicts over Water, Land and Food: Prevention and Responses". Resource degradation, climate change, population growth and violent conflict are straining water management practices. This panel will discuss how land, water, and food can be utilized as instruments of peace in preventing conflicts and building peace.
