Once a year, experts and practitioners from industry, governments, and civil society from around the globe and across 3TG supply chains gather to discuss key challenges, best practices and the changing regulatory landscape on responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence. This conference will bring together stakeholders to discuss strategies, programs, lessons learned and emerging issues as they relate to sourcing minerals from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. To this end, the CFSI is partnering with the Public Private Alliance for Responsible Minerals Trade (PPA) to deliver this year’s program. Experts and industry representatives responsible for their company’s supply chain programs will gain valuable insight on how companies, civil society and other stakeholders are furthering due diligence implementation and the progress to date from collective action. Participants will also obtain the latest thinking and activities on the global application of due diligence, including emerging EU legislation, developments in China, and OECD activities and programs. Participants will walk away from the conference with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities for facilitating responsible minerals trade from conflict-affected and high-risk areas and what it takes to meet stakeholder expectations and comply with regulations. Lastly, participants won’t want to miss the synopsis of new activities and programs at the CFSI and a look ahead to the coming year!
