Global Crossroads Lecture: Dr. Denis Mukwege, OB/GYN and Director of the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is world renowned for his fearless work treating survivors of sexual violence and as a human rights advocate in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  He and his staff at Panzi Hospital have treated over 30,000 survivors of sexual abuse providing medical, legal and psycho-social care. Mike Ramsdell is the Director of the film "When Elephants Fight". Together they will discuss the role of minerals trafficking in the DRC conflict. This event will run from 3:00-4:30pm.
