Amnesty International, Global Witness, and WikiRate are gathering a community of students to help us answer our questions on responsible sourcing. On 18 January 2016, they will be holding an interactive workshop at Cambridge University to help students gain the skills and knowledge needed to analyse information from companies and answer these questions. Students will learn how to input this information on the public WikiRate platform, where it will become part of a larger research effort on companies’ behaviour.

Amnesty International and Global Witness experts will be speaking at the workshop about the link between minerals, conflict and human rights abuses and why responsible sourcing matters matters. WikiRate representatives will introduce the platform and describe their approach to measuring companies’ behaviour.

Event runs from 1pm to 5pm (GMT).
