Conservation International's Policy Center for Environment and Peace will host a half-day session entitled, “Environmental Peacebuilding: Tools for Conflict Mitigation”. The purpose of the session is to increase awareness of the broad range of tools for conflict mitigation and explore ways for conservation, peace and development sectors to better collaborate and leverage existing efforts. Invited panel speakers include representatives from UNEP, USAID, International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and a development NGO (TBC).
