This event is an opportunity to hear an overview of Conflict Minerals Reporting-Year 1 as well as information on the year ahead. The automotive industry will present its perspective on conflict minerals reporting and the audience will receive an update on the industry-leading work AIAG and its members have done to identify resources and develop tools to help companies gain greater supply chain transparency.

This three-hour session will provide updates on leading global initiatives, best practices, and strategies to help your company prepare for Conflict Minerals Reporting-Year 2 and beyond. Attendees will receive an update on the Conflict Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) smelter audits.

The content is targeted to audit, supply chain, purchasing, compliance, and legal staff at suppliers at Tier 1 and beyond. Speakers will represent OEM and Tier 1 perspectives, law and CPA/audit firms, and iPoint, AIAG’s conflict minerals training partner. Additional invited speakers include the SEC, U.S. Department of State, and CFSI. The session will conclude with a panel presentation and audience Q&A.

To ensure you have an opportunity to attend, the three-hour briefing will be offered in two identical sessions: 8:30 - 11:30 A.M. and again at 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Register for either the morning OR the afternoon session.
