The Alliance for Peacebuilding (AfP) Annual Conference serves as an opportunity for AfP members to mingle with other members of the broader peacebuilding community, including individuals from related sectors, funders, representatives of government, policymakers, and members of the military, to exchange ideas, reconnect, and collaborate on projects. The Annual Conference provides a platform to discuss pressing issues in the field and develop collaborative initiatives. It is also a chance to reflect on AfP and member achievements and discuss the future direction of the field.

2014 Annual Conference – May 21 to 23, 2014

This year’s conference will explore new frontiers in peacebuilding. The first day will be co-sponsored with the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) and will take place at the beautiful USIP headquarters in Washington, DC.

We are pleased to announce that the Beacon Hotel (1615 Rhode Island Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20036) will be hosting the retreat portion on days two and three of our conference.
