This webinar will explore how the war is influencing water quality in Ukraine and how water needs and threats may change over time, both in respect to Ukraine’s recovery but also as a result of climate change and future regulatory alignment with the EU.

This webinar is a standalone event as well as an introductory lecture for the DigiEduHack hackathon, which CEOBS is organising on 13-14th November 2024.

The webinar is designed for students, individuals from the academic and scientific communities, as well as policymakers and representatives from NGOs. It coincides with #EnvConflictDay, the UN’s International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment Through War and Armed Conflict.

Speakers: Iryna Babanina, Jay Lindle and Dr Anna McKean, CEOBS.
