Foreign Policy is hosting a special Earth Day edition FP Virtual Dialogue on the topic of Climate & Security, which will feature the release of FP Analytics’ latest report and an expert dialogue on this pressing topic.
Allison Carlson, Managing Director of FP Analytics, will share some of the new and original insights from this analysis, which highlights the ways in which climate change is exacerbating economic and security risks across the Middle East and North Africa, and beyond. She will be joined in conversation by:
- Marcus D. King, John O. Rankin Associate Professor of International Affairs and director of the M.A. Program in International Affairs at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
- C.D. Glin, president and chief executive officer of the U.S. African Development Foundation.
With COVID-19 further contributing to instability, the conversation will highlight insights from experts and focus on the actions public, private, and international institutions can take to manage the risks and foster resilience.
