The expert workshop will take place in New York, United States of America, on 11 and 12 April 2019, and will bring together approximately 30 to 40 experts representing Parties, the United Nations system, international organizations and civil society, who have experience and expertise to share on gender- responsive approaches in the context of biodiversity-related policy, planning and/or programming. Select experts from a range of disciplines will be requested to prepare thematic briefs to highlight and consolidate evidence on some key topics for consideration during the meeting.
