JeanBaptiste Nimubona, Chief of Party of USAID's Solutions for Peace and Recovery (SPR) Project in eastern DRC and Jerome Hansen, Technical Director at Management Systems International will provide an overview of the SPR Project that aims to promote conflict prevention through the strengthening of community-level social cohesion in North and South Kivu. Participants will learn about key strategies of the project including building local capacity for conflict research, inclusion of women and marginalized communities and the project’s emerging efforts to promote conflict sensitivity.
