The Environmental Peacebuilding Association will host its second year-in-review seminar “Environmental Peacebuilding: The Year in Review.” The event will showcase important developments in the environmental peacebuilding field in the past year and preview what is in store for 2020.  The discussions will highlight key stories, accomplishments, and innovative solutions.

Speakers:

  • Giulia Giordano, International Affairs Manager at EcoPeace Middle East
  • Miguel Londoño, Senior Program Officer at the Global Green Growth Institute
  • Erika Weinthal, Professor of Environmental Policy and Public Policy at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment
  • Doug Weir, Research and Policy Director at the Conflict and Environment Observatory

Moderator: Geoff Dabelko, Professor and Associate Dean at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs

This in-person seminar at the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) in Washington, DC will be livestreamed via GoToWebinar. The event is open to all. The archived recording of the webinar will be available for Environmental Peacebuilding Association members.
