What's being a woman got to do with the environment? And what can women do about climate change? The answer is - a lot! Want to learn more? Come along to a free event on Women, Health & Our Environment on 18 June 2019 at the Woodford Memorial Hall, South Woodford at 7.15pm.

You’ll learn what you can do to combat climate change and help our environment and explore why climate change is a gender issue, looking at the particular impact on women. Soroptimist East London is delighted to host this event by East London’s Women’s Environmental Network – the only UK charity working on issues that link women, health, equality and the environment.

Kate Metcalf Co-Director of the Women's Environmental Network will be leading the talk.
