Webinar on “Assessing Impact: Monitoring & Evaluation for Environmental Peacebuilding”

Nov 14, 2018 | Environmental Peacebuilding Association
online

Effective and inclusive monitoring and evaluation systems are essential for assessing the effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of any programming, and are particularly critical in conflict-affected areas. The Environmental Peacebuilding Association recently established the M&E Interest Group to share lessons learned and challenges related to the monitoring, evaluation, and assessment of environmental peacebuilding. The group will also strive to develop a community of practice aimed at discussing and disseminating good practices and current events related to the M&E of environmental peacebuilding.

On November 14, 2018 from 10-11am US Eastern time, the M&E Interest Group will host an introductory webinar about the purpose of the interest group, including a brief discussion on the current state of the field and future directions for the group. The webinar will be facilitated by the group's co-leaders, Juha Uitto (Director of the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility) and Amanda Woomer (Monitoring & Evaluation Manager at General Board of Global Ministries). All are welcome to join the webinar. The archived recording will be available for Environmental Peacebuilding Association members.
