The Environmental Peacebuilding Association will host its annual year-in-review roundtable on “Environmental Peacebuilding: The Year in Review and the Year Ahead.” This roundtable will feature insights, experience and reflections on important developments in the environmental peacebuilding field in the past year and preview what is in store for 2024. The discussions will highlight recent developments, key stories, accomplishments, innovative solutions and projections regarding the field.
The roundtable will gather people from Environmental Peacebuilding’s community of practice and research and will be moderated by Geoff Dabelko, Professor at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service.
The following practitioners and researchers will share their perspectives:
- Erika Weinthal, Nicholas School of the Environment, Duke University
- Kyungmee Kim, SIPRI
- Teslima Jallow, Ohio University
- Dimitrios Kantemnidis, Levsos Reception and Identification Centre for Refugees
- Alexander Lopez, National University of Costa Rica (TBC)
