The Women in Water Diplomacy Network: 2022 Year-In-Review Open Online Event

The Women in Water Diplomacy Network consists of members of the Women in Water Diplomacy Network in the Nile (initiated in 2017), the Women in Water Management Network in Central Asia and Afghanistan (initiated in 2021) as well as the supporters of both networks and representatives of newly developing basin communities. The Networks are ‘informal engagements for formal actors’ and include representatives of the Ministries of Water and Foreign Affairs or other related ministries as well as informal influential intermediaries.  In 2022, the Women in Water Diplomacy (now) Global Network achieved several milestones including launching its Global Strategy and convening the first ever Global Network Forum at the World Water Week! This December 19, 2022 online event will serve to collectively reflect on the milestones reached in 2022 and gear up for the upcoming activities planned in 2023! This online event is open to all Network members, supporters, development partners and any professionals interested in learning more about the Network
