What teaching modalities have been most effective to teach environmental peacebuilding? Sponsored by the Education Interest Group of EnPAx, this consultation convenes a featured speaker, student and faculty commentators, and participants to reflect on experiences with teaching and learning through role playing, films, field trips, experiential learning, case studies, creative thinking, guest lectures and other modalities.
This consultation features ignite speaker: Todd Walters, student commentator: Ratia Tekenet,and faculty member Bill Timpson to offer their experiences with beyond-the-textbook, effective options for teaching environmental peacebuilding. Substantial time is allocated for breakout discussion, so that participants can share their experiences and reflections before reconvening as a group.
