Despite progress on inclusive leadership and the gender pay gap, when it comes to seeing change for financial inclusion for women, significant gaps still remain:

The gender pension gap increased to 40.3% in 2018-19 - and has remained effectively unchanged over the last 5 years. (Prospect); 52% of women have never put their money into an investment product, compared to 37% of men (YouGov); 62% of millennial women in heterosexual relationships in the UK still admit to deferring to their husbands or male partner regarding long-term financial decisions (UBS )

At the same time, there's another big gap we need to close when it comes to the climate. The 2018 IPPC report shows us that the next decade is crucial for climate action if we're going to have a hope of staying below 1.5 degrees. And more businesses than ever before are placing climate and sustainability at the heart of their strategy.

Enrol Yourself and Friends of the Earth's Experiments Team invite you to hear from a panel of speakers looking at the role of business in bridging the gaps in gender equity, financial inclusion, and climate change.

If you are leading strategic work in a business or organisation around gender inclusion and/or climate change, we'd like to invite you to join us at this event.
