Governments and international organizations have increasingly recognized the importance of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth, Peace and Security by creating space for youth in peace and development processes. Despite some progress, a redoubling of efforts is needed to evaluate youth voices across the water sectors- including as part of water diplomacy processes.

This Water Dialogue will give an introduction to water diplomacy and explore the benefits and opportunities of inclusive transboundary governance with a focus on youth perspectives. Further, this Water Dialogue will serve as an opportunity for young water professionals and water diplomats to interact and share knowledge on how to enhance youth participation in water diplomacy processes.
