The Environmental Peacebuilding Association will host its third year-in-review seminar on “Environmental Peacebuilding: The Year in Review and the Year Ahead.” The event will showcase important developments in the environmental peacebuilding field in the past year and preview what is in store for 2021.  The discussions will highlight key stories, accomplishments, and innovative solutions.

The following practitioners and researchers will share their perspectives:

  • Richard Matthew, Associate Dean of Research and International Programs, School of Social Ecology and Professor of Urban Planning and Public Policy and Political Science, University of California Irvine
  • McKenzie F. Johnson, Assistant Professor of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
  • Jessica Spijkers, Postdoctoral Fellow, CSIRO (Tasmania)
  • Ashok Swain, Professor, Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University; UNESCO Chair of International Water Cooperation

 The event will be moderated by Geoff Dabelko, Professor and Associate Dean at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs

This online event will be held on Zoom Webinar. The event is open to all.
