It will highlight legal and policy innovations that guarantee ecological reparation and non-repetition, while promoting reconciliation and environmental peace. It will explore how integrating biodiversity into land-use planning and governance strengthens territorial resilience and conflict management. It will also emphasising participatory approaches and ecosystem-based strategies for a paradigm shift where conservation becomes central to peacebuilding, ensuring that damaged landscapes and communities recover together for a sustainable and just future.
