Join us for an intimate gathering that brings together women at the forefront of environmental peacebuilding—from community mediators to policy advisors, Indigenous leaders to researchers. Sponsored by the EnPAx Gender Interest Group, this is networking opportunity allows participants to step away from conference sessions and connect authentically with peers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of doing this work as women.
The lunch will be opened by Joanne Lebert, Executive Director of IMPACT, whose work to improve natural resource management where security and human rights are at risk has made her a leading voice at the intersection of gender, conflict, and the environment.
We'll explore the questions that keep us up at night: How do we move from token representation to genuine influence in decision-making spaces? What strategies are working to bridge the gap between community-level peacebuilding and international policy? How do we support the next generation of women leaders while sustaining ourselves in this demanding field?
Expect honest conversation, strategic thinking, and the kind of connections that extend well beyond the conference. This is your chance to learn from others' experiences, share your own insights, and leave with renewed energy and concrete ideas for advancing women's leadership in environmental peacebuilding.
Prior sign-up is required.
